JAMMU, May 24: The residents of Chandan Vihar, Muthi held a meeting under the chairmanship of Buta Singh Chib, wherein the inhabitants the area proposed to constitute a Public Welfare Development Trust (PWDT) for the welfare and development of Chandan Vihar and other parts of Jammu.
In the meeting, Kuldeep Raj Verma has been elected as Managing Trustee-cum-Chairman, while Vachaspati Khajuria, Ram Dayal Sharma, Bua Ditta Sharma, Bua Ditta Salgotra, Raj Kumar Sharma, Puran Chand Chargotra, Buta Singh Chib, Bachan Singh, Madan Lal and Babu Ram as trustees.
The newly elected chairman while speaking said that no stone will remain unturned to get the issues including sanitation, water supply and other basic amenities redressed by the concerned authorities.
