POONCH, May 26: The police recovered a young girl hailing from Loran area of Mandi in Poonch from Shimla city in Himachal Pardesh and arrested the kidnapper.
Police sources said that one Ghulam Mohd from Loran area lodged a report with Loran Police that his young daughter was allegedly kidnapped by one Farooq Ahmed, son of Bashir Ahmed, resident of Loran about two months back. On this complaint the police registered a case FIR No. 4/ 2017 and started investigation.
The police party led by SHO Loran under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Shaid Nahiem managed to trace and recover the girl from Shimla on Thursday. The accused was also arrested. The girl was handed over to the family after medical examination.
