Annual Mahayajnya of Bhagawaanji performed with religious fervor, gaiety

JAMMU, May 27: The annual Mahayajnya of Jagadguru Bhagawaan Gopinathji was performed with religious fervor and gaiety today.
In this connection functions were held at various places in the State and across the country. The Bhagawaan Gopinathji Ashram Udaiwala Bohri near here was the main attraction of devotees where a large number of people from length and breadth of Jammu braving scorching heat thronged from early in the morning to pay their obeisance to Bhagawaanji and participate in the religious function.
The Mahayajnya started yesterday evening and culminated this afternoon with Puranahuti. Though rush of devotees started from early in the morning but it swelled in the afternoon and people had to wait in long queues for darshan. The devotees were served prashad after Puranhuti.
The function was organized by Bhagawaan Gopinathji Trust which had made elaborate arrangements for devotees and smooth and successful conduct of the religious function.
Hundreds of volunteers of the Trust rendered selfless services to devotees at various counters and served lemon water and Prashad etc to them. They also assisted the Trust to ensure hassle free movement of devotees.
Bhajan and Kirtan continued for the whole day. The function culminated with the Samohik evening Aarti (prayers) in which a large number of devotees participated.
The other major centers where the Mahayajnya was simultaneously performed included Ashram at Gole Gujral, Jammu Kharyar-Srinagar, Kashmir, Pamposh Enclave, New Delhi, Vikaspuri, West Delhi, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jallandhar, Jaipur, Chembur and Kandivilli Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and at Vaishali , Ghaziabad and at various Satsang Mandalis across the globe.
The authorities had also made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the religious function.
