20 kanal forest land cleared, 2 structures dismantled

POONCH, May 27: The Forest team from Poonch Division, assisted  by police and Forest Protection Force sleuths in  a major operation today,  retrieved 20 kanal of forest land at Hari Budha, under Haveli  Range and dismantled two structures.
Official sources said that the Forest team led by DFO Poonch, Anwar Aftab Shah,  assisted by police party led by DySP Headquarters,  Shahid Nahiem and FPF men organised a major operation at Hari Budha today and cleared nearly 20 kanals of Forest  land which had been illegally grabbed by two families.
The Police and Forest team earlier, suffered some reaction from the land grabbers but later, they were thrown out from the Govt land. Range Officer, Azmat Hussain Shah said that two structures belonging to Abdul Rehman and Amar Din hailing from Hari Budha were also dismantled.
DFO, Anwar Shah  further said that on Friday, 100 kanal Forest area was cleared from the illegal possession of three villagers at Sagra near Balnoi. Their three structures were also removed. The Police, Revenue authorities and FPF assisted the Forest team during the operation. SDM Mendhar Rahul Yadav and SDPO Riaz Tantray were also supervising that operation, he said.
