SAMBA, May 27: A lady died while her son and husband were injured after the scooter on which they were riding was hit by a truck at Sankha More tonight.
The deceased has been identified as Darshana Devi, 37, wife of Satish Kumar of Gapwal Vijaypur, district Samba.
According to police the trio were on a scooter bearing registration number JK0-25-6912 and after reaching Sankha More the two wheeler was hit by a speedy truck bearing registration number JK 21 A 4385 which was on way to Jammu.
The lady died on spot while her husband Satish Kumar and son who was identified as Aman Kumar have been taken to Vijaypur Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the truck was arrested by Vijaypur Police and a case has been registered under relevant sections of law against him.
