JKBHEA accords support to protesting female MPHWs

JAMMU, May 28: Jammu & Kashmir Basic Health Employee Association (JKBHEA), province Jammu, has accorded full support to protesting Female Multi Purpose Health Workers here.
Talking to media-persons here today, Pawan Singh Jamwal,  president JKBHEA extended    full support to the agitating Female Multipurpose Health Workers for their genuine demands and guaranteed their support for the two days pen down / tool down token strike of three hours duration on May 30 and 31, 2017 on the  call given by Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation. He said that emergency services have been exempted from the  strike.
It is pertinent to mention here that JKMEF has given strike call for two days on May 30 and 31 in support of Female Multi Purpose Health Workers working under 2211 salary head, who are protesting for release of pending salary of more than 15 months and permanent solution of their salary head 2011.
Jamwal  along with Vinod Kumar Sharma,  chief advisor of Basic Health Employee Association appealed  to all  the employees working in Health Department Jammu province to support  two days pen down strike / tool down strike of the health employees. The Association also appealed to their employees to observe any call given by Jammu Kashmir Medical Employee Federation in future in support of FMPHWs and express solidarity with them.
Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion included Uttam Lal Sharma senior vice president,  Bansi Lal  vice president,  Rakesh Hangloo  general secretary,  Janak Raj Thapa  general secretary (Rural), Rajinder Kumar secretary,  Vijay Kumar and  Krishan Dutt.
