Hunger strike by Contractual Lecturers enters 103rd day

JAMMU, May 28: The ongoing hunger strike by Contractual Lecturers (10+2) entered into 103rd day today.
The protesting Contractual Lecturers held a protest demonstration and raised slogans in support of their demand. They also threatened to further intensify the ongoing struggle if their demand is not conceded.
These Contractual Lecturers have been demanding their regularization as per the Civil Services Special Provision Act 2010, a policy framed for the regularization of all the Ad-hoc/ Contractual/Consolidated employees after rendering seven years of services.

On the occasion,  Arun Bakshi, president of the Contractual Lecturers (10+2) Association, informed that a delegation of the Contractual Lecturers was officially called by Director School Education, Jammu, who assured them to settle the things very soon.
