RAJOURI, May 28: A Patwari from Lam area of Nowshera was today placed under suspension by the District Administration.
Official sources said that Patwari, Mohd Imran from Patwar Halqa Lam was placed under suspension after some locals of Lam and Pukharni area, lodged complaint against him before DC Rajouri, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary . Tehsildar Qila Darhal was asked to verify the complaints which were found correct. The DC also ordered an inquiry into the matter.
Tehsildar reported regular absence of Patwari and denial of basic services to the people like abstract of Khasra Girdawari, Jamabandi and Misl Haqiat apart from routine Revenue reports to the people.
