RAJOURI, May 29: Two persons were died after consuming poisonous substance in two separate incidents in Darhal and Nowshera area of district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that Koushal Kumar, son of Ganga Ram, resident of Bhareli village in Nowshera became serious after he consumed some poisonous stuff at his home today. He was rushed to SDH, Nowshera by the family where doctors provided preliminary treatment and then referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu, but he died on the way.
The body of the deceased was handed over to the family after postmortem at SDH Nowshera and performing legal formalities by police. A case was also registered in this connection.
Another report from Darhal said that 19-year-old Barq Hussain, son of Mohd Iqbal of Thanna Mang village allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at home during last night. He was removed to SDH Darhal by the family members where he died during treatment. The police registered a case and started investigation.
