Communal harmony

Sir,
This has reference to the news item ‘Kavinder cautions people of divisive politics’ DE May 29.
There is no doubt that  many foreign powers are hell bent on creating distability in the country. They remain in search of any opportunity which could help them to fill their nefarious designs. However, they will succeed only if the citizens of this nation will remain divided on regional, religious or linguistic lines. India is a multi-religious, and multi-linguistic country. There are chances that differences may exist between the people on one or the other issue. But these differences should not become a matter of discord between them so as to be exploited by foreign powers. India believes in unity in diversity. This is our credo. We should respect this diversity and allow it to flourish further. We should not use it for our personal benefits or vested interests. This will only tear asunder our socio-cultural fabric. There is need to maintain communal harmony in the country to allow country grow further.
Yours etc…
Veer Singh
