73 students get job offers during placement drives at GIA

JAMMU, May 30: Impressed with the preparedness of job-ready students of Global Institutes Amritsar (GIA), renowned multinational companies made lucrative job offers to them. 73 students got job offers from different companies of various segments during different drives held at campus recently.
Multi-National Companies like L G Soft India, John Deere, Microtek Infra, Cvent India, Smart School Education (P) Ltd., Space Technology and Education (P) Ltd, Cargill, Verdantis Technologies, Franchise India, T I Infotech, Essel Propack Ltd, DLF Ltd., Leeway Hertz, Rakheja Engineers, Talbros Group and Hotel Hyatt visited GIA and offered placements to the final year degree and diploma students.
The highlight was the placement of B Tech (CSE) student Surbhi Khanna who got placed as Software Engineer with a salary package of Rs 5.30 lakh per annum with L G Soft India, an innovation wing of LG Electronics, Bangalore.
John Deere selected 4 students namely Karanpreet Singh, Gurkiran Sokhi, Ankit Bhasin, Ravi Gill and offered them the job profile of Diploma Engineer Trainee.
Company officials from Cargill visited Global Institutes and conducted campus placement drive for MBA students. They selected Ajay Kumar, for the role of trainee Sales Officer in their organization.
Franchise India, a leading group of companies that provides franchise and business opportunities, selected 7 students, namely Shavi Bhardwaj, Priya Nagpal, Amarjit Aman, Mankirat Kaur, Palak Kalra, Himani and Madhumita. The selected students were offered an annual salary package of 4.5 to 6 lakh per annum.
Dr Akashdeep Singh Chandi, Vice Chairman of GIA, congratulated selected students and said that Global Institutes Amritsar is always committed towards providing career growth, oriented opportunities to its students along with their academics.
