JAMMU, May 31: Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today asserted that Government is working tirelessly to ensure improved amenities to the people for which focused attention is being laid on road connectivity, power infrastructure and other vital sectors.
The Speaker said this after kick starting work on multipurpose hall at Shiv Mandir, Trikuta Nagar to be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 14 lakh.
MLC, Vikram Randhawa, President Shiv Mandir Committee, Rattan Kapoor, General Secretary Tilak Raj Puri, Vice President, Lal Mann Sharma, Trustees of the Shiv Mandir Committee besides locals were also present on the occasion.
He said that on completion, the community hall will cater to the needs of people in organizing religious as well as social functions.
Stressing on the developmental initiatives of the Government, Kavinder Gupta said that no stone will remain unturned to make Gandhi Nagar a model constituency, adding that various works are apace to upgrade the infrastructure and basic facilities.
He sought people’s cooperation in strengthening the developmental initiatives of the Government and effective implementation of various schemes.
