BJP Mahila Morcha holds Working Committee meet

JAMMU, May 31: BJP Mahila Morcha today held one day State Working Committee meeting at party Headquarter, here at Trikuta Nagar.
The meeting was inaugurated by Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament Jammu-Poonch Constituency, along with BJP State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, State secretary Sanjay Baru, Mahila Morcha State Prabhari Suresh Jamwal, Mahila Morcha State president Purnima Sharma and senior leader Sakina Bano.
BJP State president & MLA Sat Sharma while addressing the meeting, said that BJP is the largest party of world today due to the ideology and principles it has maintained over the time. The working of party has got a major boost by the effective corruption free government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with its strong policies and programmes. He said that the golden time of BJP is yet to come when it will reach the milestone of two-third majority in Parliament and majority in Jammu & Kashmir State.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing the meeting, said that women comprise fifty percent of the total population. Present Centre Government under the leadership of Narendra Modi has initiated many schemes for uplifting the women population of the Nation, he added.
He said PM himself has very high regards for the women and regards every lady as daughter or mother. While stating many flagship schemes for the women have been initiated, he discussed in detail about the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao”, “Ujjwala”, “Maternity Benefit Programme”, “Women Helpline Scheme” and many others.
Ashok Koul on this occasion, explained the working system of BJP and said that we have formed the government with aim of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”. He focussed on character and behaviour of the party activist. He said that everybody must embed the qualities if Pt. Deeen Dayal Upadhayay and Dr. Shayama Prasad Mookherji in their lives and work for the welfare of the masses.
Purnima Sharma assured the present dignitaries that members of Mahila Morcha are committed to the welfare of women folk of the State and they are working whole heartedly to take Party into every neglected and downtrodden part of the society. She also presented the details of programmes started by the Morcha members and apprised the seniors of difficulties being faced by them during their working.
Mahila Morcha State general secretaries Sanjita Dogra and Veenu Khanna conducted the proceedings of the stage. Anu Gupta presented vote of thanks.
