SRINAGAR, May 31: Police today said a girl attempted suicide in Kupwara district of north Kashmir.
A police spokesman said a girl (name withheld) hailing from Hatmulla in Kupwara district consumed some poisonous substance at her home.
“She was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment where from she was shifted to SMHS Srinagar for further treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
