NEW DELHI: As per the announcement made by the Largest Public Sector Bank, State Bank of India (SBI) earlier, selected customer services will become costlier from today including withdrawal of cash from SBI’s ATMs once the prescribed limit is over.
In that case customer may have to pay Rs 25 service charges on every cash withdrawal from ATMs with immediate effect from June 1, 2017.
As per SBI’s announcement, Customers holding Basic Savings Banks deposit account will have a limit of four ATM withdrawals in a month.
All normal Saving Bank accounts will continue to get eight free ATM transactions (5 SBI ATMs plus 3 other bank ATMs) in Metros & 10 free transactions in Non Metro (SBI ATM plus 5 Other Bank ATMs) free apart from the bank transaction.
SBI had said, “Charges are applicable only for State Bank Buddy using ATM (This is applicable only for State Bank Buddy Customer).”
Apart from this anyone making up to Rs 1-lakh transfer on IMPS will be charged with Rs 5 per transaction plus service tax. (AGENCIES)
