Registrar interacts with JU fraternity

JAMMU, June 1: In order to boost morale of the employees and to take stock of the day to day working of the University at the various levels, Prof  Keshav Sharma, Registrar, Jammu University, held various rounds of interactions with different cadres of the university Non-Teaching employees and the officers.
The Registrar was accompanied by Jai Kumar Sharma, Director, Colleges Development Council;  Sanjeev Mahajan, Controller Examinations; Dr  Neeraj Sharma, Special Secretary to the Vice-Chancellor;  Ashwani Padha, Joint Registrar (Exams) and Dr  Dharminder Magotra, Joint Registrar (Finance)
The interactions were aimed at encouraging the University employees to make the University a better work place and also to have thorough insight of the work culture being adopted in JU. The Registrar alongwith the other officials asked the employees to maintain discipline at the work place and give priority to all the important issues especially the issues related to the students,  which needed immediate attention. He also asked the employees to be punctual and finish the day to day table work on time so as to minimize unnecessary delays. He called upon all the functionaries to work towards improving quality and efficient administrative support to all the Sections/Wings of the University.
Describing all the Sections/Wings and its members as main pillars of the institution, the Registrar stressed upon the need for striving hard toward achieving the institutional excellence and further improve in JU ratings in the various accreditation.
The Registrar also exhorted upon all the functionaries to work together as a team for the betterment of the University and also asked them to work hard for creating a conducive atmosphere that promotes academics and research on the Campus. He also advised the staff to exhibit a high sense of dedication in order to move forward and to take the university to heights.
