BJP leaders campaigning in HP

JAMMU, Oct 22: To support and extend help in campaigning of BJP candidates contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections in neighbouring State of Himachal Pradesh, about a dozen leaders from Jammu and Kashmir have been camping in Chamba district.
BJP State president Shamsher Singh Manhas undertook 2-day tour of Chamba last week to make on the spot assessment of the campaign plans as also to distribute the work among the party leaders from J&K.
The process of campaigning started with holding of a meeting at Chamba by State general secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul with his Himachal Pradesh counterpart Pawan Kumar in the presence of National general secretary (Organisation) Ram Lal, where they interacted with the party candidates of all the five constituencies of Chamba.
Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh represents five Assembly constituencies Dalhousie, Chamba, Bharmor, Churaha, Bhathiat and the BJP leaders from Jammu and Kashmir have been assigned duties in these segments.
State general secretary Sat Sharma (CA) with Narinder Singh is in Dalhousie, secretary Sunil Sharma with Ravinder Raina and Akshay Kumar is in Bharmor, BJYM National vice-president Pawan Khajuria is in Bhatitat, Doda District President Dalip Parihar is in Churaha, BJYM State president Munish Sharma with BJYM National Executive Member Aseem Gupta is in Chamba in connection with election campaigning.
