SRINAGAR: Srinagar recorded hottest day of the summer so far after the mercury surged and settled at 31.9 degrees Celsius, six notches above normal today.
The weather will remain dry during the next 24 hours in Srinagar, a Met department spokesman said this evening.
He said the maximum temperature today was 31.6 degrees, six degree above normal while the minimum temperature was 15.1 degrees, two notches above normal in Srinagar where people are observing fast. Earlier hottest temperature was 30.8 degrees recorded on May 30.
The weather will remain mainly clear and the maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 32 degrees and 15 degrees respectively during the next 24 hours in the city. (AGENCIES)
