LUCKNOW: Senior Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad, today released a booklet which stated that the Valley is Indian-occupied Kashmir.

Mr Azad, who was in the State capital to raise the issue of the alleged failures of the BJP-led NDA Government during its three-year tenure, asserted that the Narendra Modi dispensation at the Centre had failed in its foreign policy, particularly with reference to Pakistan and China.

During a press meet, Mr Azad released a 16-page booklet titled ‘National Security Endangered–Bravado, Rhetoric, Hyperbole Rules…!’ Page 12 of the booklet, published by the All India Congress Committee headquarters in New Delhi, printed a map of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor in which Kashmir has been shown as Pakistan occupied Kashmir. It set off much criticism of the Congress.      The page, on which the controversial map had been printed, also stated that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) worth 54 billion dollar built passes through PoK/Balochistan connecting Gwadar port on Arabian Sea to China with base for Chinese submarines.
