Steps afoot to provide improved amenities, ensure equitable development: Ganga

JAMMU, June 3 :  Reiterating the commitment of the Government to ensure equitable development and provide enhanced amenities to the people, Minister for Industries and Commerce,  Chander Parkash Ganga today said concerted efforts are on to meet the developmental aspirations of the people.
The Minister said this after inaugurating a road project at Mordha Kotli Rajpur Koular completed at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh. He said that requisite steps are underway to improve the road connectivity, power infra and other amenities in the area and directions have been given to the concerned departments to ensure time bound completion of the projects with strict adherence to the quality norms.
While responding to the demands projected by the people for improving water supply in the area, the Minister directed the concerned officers to take requisite steps to augment potable water supply.
Later, Ganga also inaugurated  250 KW transformers at Dhainsar, Sarror Sangramallah and Channi Kotli. While interacting with the people, he took stock of their demands and assured them that their genuine demands will be looked into on priority for their early redressal.
He asked the concerned officers to reach out to the people and take adequate measures to resolve their issues in a timebound manner.
