JAMMU, June 5: One person was killed, while a couple received injuries in road accidents, here today.
As per police sources, Naginder Singh, son of Rashpal Singh of Jeevan Nagar received injuries, when the motorcycle he was driving slipped near Narwal.
The profusely bleeding victim was shifted to GMCH Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries.
After conducting autopsy, the body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites.
Meanwhile, a couple identified as Kuldeep Raj, son of Tara Chand of Bishnah and his wife Parveen Sharma received injuries when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a van near Digiana Chowk.
Both the injured were shifted to GMCH Jammu, where they were responding to the treatment, when reports last came in.
Cases have been registered at concerned police stations and investigation started.
