SRINAGAR, June 8: Inspector General of Police (Traffic) Jagjit Kumar today said the Mughal road will be thrown open for two-way traffic from June 09.
In an official statement, IG Traffic said initially two-way movement on the Mughal road will be allowed for Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) only from June 09, 2017 for a period of one week.
Giving details, he said the movement of traffic (LMVs only) from either sides (viz. from Behramgalla and Heerpora sides) will be allowed strictly between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm only and all the vehicles will crossPeer Ki Gali before 5:00 pm, every day.
He said movement of HMVs will continue to be one-way till further orders and movement of these vehicles (HMVs) from Behramgalla towards Shopian and vice versa will be allowed on alternate days strictly.
