SRINAGAR, June 9: Governor N. N. Vohra has greeted the people on the birth anniversary of Guru Hargobindji and expressed sincere hope that the celebration of this auspicious day would strengthen the bonds of amity, harmony and brotherhood and be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
In his message of felicitations, the Governor has observed that Guru Hargobindji’s noble example of selfless service, based on the high values of righteousness, truth and love, is more relevant today than in the past.
The Governor prayed for the well-being of the people of the State.
Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has also felicitated people of the State on the birth anniversary of Guru Hargobind Singh Ji.
In her message of greetings, the Chief Minister said Jammu & Kashmir has a rich tradition of celebrating auspicious occasions and festivals of all the religions in an environment of amity and brotherhood.
On this occasion, Mehbooba Mufti has prayed for peace, prosperity and wellbeing of the people of the State.
