RAMBAN, June 9: Special Director General (DG) Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) RP Singh impressed upon the officers and jawans to remain vigilant and take concrete steps to ensure fool proof security of Amarnath yatries.
He stated this during his visit to 84 battalion stationed at Boom Chanderkote where he took a meeting of Commanding Officers, Company Commanders of various companies of CRPF and Spl DG CRPF deployed for Shri Amarnath Yatra.
He hoped it is purely religious yatra and nobody tries to harm yatris. Extra reserved forces are being kept ready to handle any situation if arises, he added.
He said that Central Government is going to launch a Mobile app Madadgar for yatris which work round the clock for their safety and security.
Other CRPF officers who accompanying Special Director General were AV Chauhan IGP Jammu, Rakesh Sethi, Deputy Inspector General Jammu Sector, Anand Singh Commandant, Yash Paul Thapa 2nd in Command 84 Battalion and SSP Ramban Mohan Lal.
