SRINAGAR, June 9: Police today said that two including a minor boy were killed in two separate road accidents in Kashmir.
A police spokesman said that a Nano car bearing registration number HP32B-2176 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Taja Begum at Dardpora area of Kupwara district. “The injured was shifted hospital in Srinagar where she succumbed to her injuries. Police have registered a case and investigation has been taken up,” he added.
The spokesman said a Tipper bearing registration number JK04A-9937 hit a 10 year-old boy identified as Yawar Yaseen in Budgam Town, resulting in his on spot death. “Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
