DODA, June 10: Police arrested a man along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, a team from Doda police station apprehended a man along with 38 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Sunder Singh, son of Chuni Lal, a resident of Gaddhi, district Doda.
He was carrying the illicit liquor pouches to his native village for selling among the people for illegitimate profits.
A case under FIR Number 124/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Doda police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Doda Inspector Raghubir Singh and assisted by Incharge Pul Doda police post SI Ajay Engotra made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftikhar Qureshi and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
