Gujjars, Bakerwals be included in talks on Kashmir: Hakla

POONCH, June 11: Shamsher Hakla Poonchi, a prominent Gujjar leader and intellectual of the State has expressed satisfaction over the statement of Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh, stating  that Government of India would soon take effective step for permanent solution of Kashmir issues.
Hakla said in a statement here, today that it is the need of the time to solve the Kashmir issue as soon as possible. He said that due to present unrest in Kashmir, the economic and educational sectors have been badly affected and people of J&K State are facing many difficulties.
He appealed to the Government of India to initiate dialogue process for solving the issue.
He demanded that Gujjar and Bakerwal Community of J&K must be included in the dialogue process.
He said except  Ladakh region, the Gujjar and Bakerwals community resides in 20 (twenty) districts of the J&K State whose needs are of peculiar nature and their culture and language is different having the distinct identity.
