KATHUA, June 11: An eight year old boy was seriously injured after he was hit by a scooty in his native village Jandhar in Lakhanpur area of Kathua district today.
He has been identified as Kewal Singh son of Maan Singh.
The child was first taken to PHC Lakhanpur and after giving first aid he was shifted to DH Kathua where from doctors referred him to GMC Jammu for treatment. His condition is stated to be serious. The Lakhanpur Police has registered a case against Sameer Katal son of Rajan who was driving the scooty under Section 279/337.
