SAMBA, June 11: Indian National Congress workers held a demonstration at village Jatwal and blocked the National Highway in district Samba protesting against the Central Government as well as State Government polices.
The protesters raised anti Government slogans and alleged that   NDA Government. was muzzling the voice of poor people, farmers and soldiers an in the country. While addressing the media Vijay Sharma block president Kissan Cell Ghagwal  said BJP led Government in the centre as well as BJP -PDP Alliance in the State has been ruling for the rich people and corporate houses but not for the poor people .Government muzzled the voice of neglected people using force against them and he also said police  have fired directly on the protesting farmers for their rights instead of listening their grievances. “The police on direction from Government fired upon the farmers in Madhya Pradesh and we condemned this step of Government and BJP has totally failed to run the Government, at the Centre as well as in the State,” he said.
He also said that this Government has brought only disappointment to the farmers as well as for the soldiers who are fighting for the cause of nation. He also condemned the  yesterdays episode of Kathua where  FMPHWs Female Multipurpose Health Workers who were brutly lathicharged by the police.
He said that the episode had given the most obnoxious blow to the often parroted slogan of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and said it was unheard in any democratic set up that female employees were so assaulted,. cane charged, humiliated and arrested for seeking the release of their hard earned pending salaries.  He also said that it was the matter of shame and warned the Government to take immediate action against the authorities who assaulted the FMPHW. Others who were present during the protest were Dewan Khajuria district. Chairman Kissan Cell Samba, Vijay Tagotra, Sat Pal, Pawan Kumar, and many more.
