JAMMU, Oct 23: Six persons including beautician working in a Beauty Parlour at Jammu Club, made an abortive attempts on their lives by consuming some poisonous substances.
As per reports, Rashmi Devi of Purkhoo, a beautician, working in a Beauty parlour at Jammu Club, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at Parlour.
Noticing her unconscious, colleagues shifted her Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she was responding to the treatment, when last reports came in.
The reason behind such extreme step could not be ascertained, while, a case has been registered and investigation started.
Meanwhile, five more persons namely, Ajay Sharma, son of Diwan Chand of Nai Basti, Raffia Bibi, daughter of Mohd Salim of Bajalta, at present Sidhra, Pawan Kumar, son of Gosha Ram of Akhnoor, Nasru Din, son of Abbas of Bihar, at present, Narwal and Gulshan Kumar, son of Abhi Chand of Samba, also made abortive bid on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences.
All were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where their condition was stated to be out of danger, when last reports came in.
To ascertain the reason behind such extreme steps by them, cases have been registered at concerned police stations and investigation started.
