Soan Kashmir Front justifies construction of road to holy cave

JAMMU, Oct 23:  Soan Kashmir Front, J&K in its meeting today held under the chairmanship of S L Pandita its patron urged the Government to take an immediate initiative on construction of road to holy cave of Amarnath.
In a statement issued here today the front said that the construction of road has become more necessary in view of the killing of pilgrims during the annual yatra.
The meeting also demanded construction of Yatri Bhawans along the track for facilities of pilgrims.
The meeting took strong exception to statements made by some separatist leaders opposing the construction of road and said that such people should be given no credence as they have no public mandate.
The meeting also warned that entire community will come to streets in case Government failed to solve the problems of displaced people. It demanded that  Pandits leading an exiled life be settled at safe and secure place in Kashmir valley and demanded removal of encroachments on Pandita land and property.
Front also demanded allotment of shops to migrants who were running small business establishments in erstwhile camps.
