BHUBANESWAR: In the next two years all the Head Post offices in 800 districts across the country will have Passport Seva Kendra, Minister of State for External Affairs General V K Singh said.
Talking to newsmen here, Mr Singh said the Government has decided to simplified the procedure for the Passport so that the people will not have much difficulty in getting them.
He said keeping one thing on mind that the people should not suffer and travel for a long distance to get the passport, the government has decided to open Passport Seva Kendra in the district head post offices across the country.
The Union Minister said this year alone Passport Seva Kendra will be opened in 150 district headquarter post offices in the country and by the next two years all the 800 districts in the country will have Passport Seva Kendra. (AGENCIES)
