Don’t politicise Army

Sir,
This has reference to the news item ‘Dr Jitendra hits out at Dikshit’ DE June 13, 2017.
The political parties in India should desist themselves from making any unsavoury comments on Indian  Army and let it function independently Indian Army  is an apolitical organisation, and it is praised world over for being neutral and doing its job professionally and competently.
It has never meddled in political system in the country. But one does not know why some politicians and so called writers issue certain remarks against Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat. By doing so, they are denigrating the institution of Army, and which does not bode well for the country. To again cheap publicity or drive political  mileage at the cost of Army is really condemnable. Dr Jitendra Singh has rightly commented’ It is sin to say or do anything which directly or indirectly tends to denigrate and lower the morale of Indian Army.
Yours etc…
