JAMMU, June 15: A 29-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging in Gadigarh area of city outskirts.
According to police spokesperson, the man identified as Vishal Singh son of Dilip Singh, resident of Rani Bagh (Gadigarh), allegedly committed suicide this morning by hanging himself at his residence when other family members were out.
He said that on getting information from family members, police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting post mortem, it was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
Though no suicide note was recovered from the spot, the concerned police has registered a case and started investigations.
