Kanchi Peeetam to support in teaching of Sanskrit, Sharda

JAMMU, Oct 24: In order to infuse the concept of spirituality among the general masses and to work for the propagation of Sanskrit and Sharda Lipi under the guidance of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam a process has been initiated from today in M Das High School Durga Nagar near here.
A function was organised in the school in this connection today in which Gopal Krishan Rao convener Kashmir Cultural Foundation an Initiative of Sri Kanchi Kama Koti Peetam was the chief guest. He said this is an initiation of a chapter which will specially support the children from the families affected by political and social disturbances to strive for the quality education.
It was decided the students who will opt to learn Sanskrit and Sharda Lipi in addition to the formal education will be identified and enrolled shortly. Mr Rao assured full financial assistance in this noble endeavor from Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam.
Rahul Raina Principal M Das High School said the institute will strive for quality education. The function was held on the occasion of Dussera. A hawan was also organized in the school premises on the occasion under the guidance of Sri Kanchi Kama Koti Peetam Kanchipuram for the benefit of mankind and student community. The prashad was also served to devotees after puranahuti.
