Bovines smuggling bid foiled, 2 arrested

BHADERWAH, June 17: Police foiled bovines smuggling bid by arresting two persons.
As per police sources, a team from Bhaderwah police station laid a naka at Domail and intercepted a load carrier.
During checking, police rescued two bovine animals and apprehended two persons, who have been identified as Shabir Ahmed, son of Abdul Salam and Mehraj Din, son of Mohammad Adbullah, both resident of Thathar tehsil Banihal, district Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 70/17 under Sections 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Bhaderwah police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Jatinder Sambyal made the arrest under the supervision of Additional SP Bhaderwah Shaazad Salaria, SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
