JKTF demands modification in Govt order on salary drawal of surplus staff

JAMMU, June 18: A meeting of the central executive body of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria, State general secretary of JKTF, for highlighting various issues and demands of the teaching community.
While addressing the meeting Ganesh Khajuria stressed upon the Government to revoke the recent order regarding the drawal of salaries of surplus teaching staff , due to which the affected incumbents have been facing difficulties to obtain the sanctioning of posts in far of areas and the salary grants for drawal of salaries in their favour. He urged upon the authorities to immediately withdraw this order, which is causing great harassment to the teaching community and issue the fresh order to ease the process of drawal of salaries from the schools where they are presently working.
Ganesh Khajuria also reminded the Education authorities to issue the adjustment orders of the left out Masters promoted in DPC held in February 2014 at the earliest.
The meeting also demanded redressal of the problems in releasing the salaries of teachers working under SSA Scheme at the earliest as the affected teachers are at the verge of starvation.
