Pak violates ceasefire agreement in Poonch, Army retaliates

JAMMU:  Pakistani Army yet again violated the ceasefire agreement today on the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Pakistani Army this morning at around 1100 hours fired unprovoked at forward Indian posts in Shahpur belt of Poonch by firing small arms and automatics,” official sources here said.

They said that the Indian Army gave a befitting reply to the Pakistan firing. “No injury or loss has been reported so far,” they said.

The Army on Thursday foiled an infiltration bid while an intruder was killed and two Indian soldiers attained martyrdom in BAT attack on LoC in Poonch. (AGENCIES)
