RAJOURI, June 27: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Vice President Yudhvir Sethi urged party functionaries to work relentlessly to ensure that BJP makes inroads into all corners of J&K State.
He stated this during his tour to Sunderbani area. Sethi said that this mass contact programme named Vistarak Yojana is part of party chief Amit Shah’s programme wherein several thousand vistaraks (fulltime workers) are going to apprise people of party’s programmes and policies in days to come.
Yudhvir Sethi held house to house mass contact programme and also visited several booths. He informed the party functionaries to strengthen party at all levels and also set up units wherever BJP lacks any presence. He said, “This programme is in continuation to birth centenary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay and we all must leave our footnote in every nook and corner of J&K State”.
He stressed upon the need of taking up ‘Vistar Yojna’ in a big way and expand the party on the ground. While speaking on the life and contribution of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay,  Sethi asked party workers to judge the mood of the people, inform them about the decisions taken by State and Central Governments and then spell out party’s priorities that are aimed at building a strong nation.
BJP vice president also met vistaraks from Khour and addressed issues confronting them during their campaign in Sunderbani. He along with Captain Som Dutt Dogra, Captain Romesh Kumar, Mool Raj and Prithvi Raj visited Bhalwal, Seri, Thangar and Seyal booths and held mass contact programme that is going to last for fifteen days.
Sethi said that ever since BJP came to power with a thumping majority, the NDA Government has been on the high gear bull dozing its way through by serving the cause of the needy, the marginalized, the disempowered and thus realizing the idea of an inclusive India.
