Samooh Theatre presents ‘The Tempest’ play

JAMMU, June 27: Samooh Theatre celebrated its 24th Foundation day with extra ordinary performance of William Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ by children. The play was translated and directed by Ravinder Sharma.
Sanjay Saraf (Youth President and National Spokesperson Lok Janshakti Party) was the chief guest on the occasion. Kuldeep Sharma, Vice President, NIPCCD, GoI, presided over the function, Ravi Tickoo, State President, Lok Janshakti Party and Pardeep Dutta, Bureau Chief, Times Now, was the special guest.
The actors who performed in the play were Prashant as Prospero, Ayushi Bhat as Miranda, Sakshav Raina as Ferdinand, Sandeep Thakur/Manhas as Ariel, Vishal Singh as Caliban, Rohan Singh as Gonzalo, Deepika Jamwal as Francisco, Ishika Raina as Alonso, Kosar Chandpuri  as Sebastian, Mukal Bains as Antonio, Akshit Sethi as Trinculo, Kartavya Singh Jamwal as Stephano,  Ritika Jamwal as Boatswain-I and Arpita Raina as Boatswain-II.
The play was Direction by Ravinder Sharma, choreography by Rohit Bains, Lights by Suraj Ganjoo and Pankaj Sharma, Music by Suneedhi Sharma, Sounds by Lokesh Chander. Make up by Shammi Dhammir, costumes and sets by Ravinder Sharma, Hall Management by Aditya Pandita, Shubam Singh, Diksha, Neha, Nikita, Rashmi, Pallavi, Chetan, Tarun, Samdhish, Hempreet, Abhishake, Sukriti and Neeraj Sethi.
