JAMMU, June 30: The 15th Chhari Mubarak Yatra of Mata Chamunda Devi left from Rameshwar Mandhir, Pacca Talab, Bahu Fort to Sarvadhar, Pogal Paristan, District Ramban.
The Chhari Mubarak Yatra was flagged off by Rajeev Charak, President BFDC, Baldev Raj Nagotra, Chairman BFDC and Vice Presidents BFDC Hardesh Khokher and Anuradha Charak.
Hundreds of yatris from Jammu participated in the Chhari Mubarak Yatra and thousands of yatries from Ramban, Doda and Bhaderwah will accompany it for the holy darshan of Mata Chamunda.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajeev Charak said that these types of yatras will develop peace and brotherhood between peoples from different districts and religions.
He appealed to every citizen of J&K to maintain peace, harmony and brotherhood. He also appealed to Government to provide electricity, drinking water facilities and mainly shelter facility for yatris.
He said that the Government must develop this spot as tourist and pilgrimage spot.
Among others present were Vinod Shavotra, Vikram Singh Charak, Sushil Singh Charak, Rajinder Singh Charak, Rohit Singh, Rakesh Kumar Bhagat, Darshan Kumar, Arjun Gandhi, Sunny Singh and Mani Ram Lakhotra.
