JAMMU, July 1: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production presented musical play “Nashe Kola Bacho” in its Saturday theatre series at Durga Bhawan Janipur, here.
The play was written, produced and directed by ML Dogra, renowned writer and musical play director.
The program was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K Government, while VK Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, Madan Lal Kalotra, former Superintendent Engineer PDD and Dr Anju Kumari Dogra from Directorate of Health were also present.
During the play, various items including nukkad, skits, songs and dance items were presented to aware the masses about drug abuse. The music of the play was composed by Raju Bajgal, while the artists, who participated in the programme were Usha Handoo, KK Joshi, MC Kotwal, Priya, Deepika, Vishali, Himika, Bindiya, Parul, Nitin, Asha, Vanshika, Neelam, Bhumika, Afroz Aalam, Ritik, Deevam, Rahul, Mathali, Mitali, Bodh Raj, Hem Raj, Kuldeep Raj, Sakshi, Mukesh and Darshan.
Earlier, the welcome address was presented by ML Dogra, Chairman, whereas in the end, the vote of thanks was presented by Deepak Kumar Dogra.
