JAMMU: An eighth batch of 2,513 Shri Amarnath pilgrims today left Yatri Niwas base camp here for the holy cave shrine in South Kashmir.
“Total 2,513 pilgrims left this morning in a cavalcade of 78 vehicles — 53 buses and 25 light motor vehicles,” an official here said.
He said the yatris included 550 females and 100 sadhus.
The Yatra is smoothly moving on Jammu-Srinagar national highway. (AGENCIES)
