JAMMU, July 5: An army jawan has been duped by unknown persons of Rs 33,000 in the jurisdiction of Nagrota police station.
As per police sources, an army jawan namely Vinod Kumar of Nagrota had gone to ATM to withdrawn cash from his account.
Some unknown persons extended help to the army jawan as he was unable to operate ATM and in the meantime, the persons replaced the ATM of the army jawan and later withdraw Rs 33000 from the account of army jawan from another ATM.
As the jawan came to know about the withdrawal of cash from his account, he reported the matter to police.
A case in this regard has been registered at Nagrota police station and investigation started.
