UDHAMPUR, July 7: An Ex-Serviceman died after his scooty, he was riding, skidded off the road and slipped into deep gorge at Dalsar in Ramnagar, here today.
The deceased was identified as Parkash Chand (48), son of Thakar Dass of Msal Ramnagar He was presently working as Security Guard with a bank.
In another road mishap near Slathia Chowk Udhampur, a young girl was hit by a two wheeler when she was walking on the roadside.
The injured pedestrian, identified as Anuradha (20), daughter of Parshotam Lal of Osu Khara, was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur for treatment..
Meanwhile, a 59-year old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Devika Nallah, near MH Chowk, Udhampur, here today.
The deceased was identified as Kaka Ram, son of Jaghat Ram of Sayal Jattan Udhampur. The man was found lying dead by some locals, who informed the Police.
