SRINAGAR: Observing that deserving beneficiaries are not getting benefit of Prime Minister Awas Yojana (PMAY), the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly (LA) today directed the concerned for preparing afresh list so that deserving candidates are covered under the Yojana.
An official spokesman said here this afternoon that PAC of J&K LA met under the Chairmanship of Mohammad Akbar Lone to review the functioning and examine the Audit Paras pertaining to Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department.
Reviewing the functioning of the department, the Committee observed that deserving beneficiaries are not getting benefit of PMAY and directed the concerned for preparing afresh list so that deserving candidates are covered under the Yojana. (AGENCIES)
