RAJOURI, July 15: Former Congress MLA from Kalakote, Ashok Sharma has demanded that air and railway link to twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch be provided without any delay.
Mr Sharma, who is Coordinator of AICC Vichar Vibhag, while addressing Block Congress Committee at Dangri in Rajouri urged upon the Central Govt to provide Rail and Air link to Rajouri and Poonch. He expressed serious concern over the lop sided utilization of funds granted for development of welfare schemes on political considerations, ignoring opposition in Rajouri and Poonch.
Mr Sharma stressed upon the need of good governance and remove trust deficit in public life. He alleged that Government has failed to keep check on corruption and mis-governance. He also stressed the need to encourage religious tourism in two districts.
