JAMMU, July 16: MAK Lubricants from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a PSU under Govt of India inaugurated their first distributorship in Leh, M/s. Aksh Enterprises (India) at Skalzaling Road and also their first distributorship in Kargil, M/s Zojila Engineering Works at Kargil.
BPCL is a Fortune 500 Company with an annual turnover of Rs. 2.46 lakh crores and a profit of Rs. 9500 crores in FY 16-17.
BPCL has more than 13,500 Retail Outlets, 4500 LPG Distributors catering to over 5 crore customers, a large number of Kerosene Dealers and Lubricants Distributors across length and breadth of the country.
BPCL launched a new Product, MAK ROYAL, a semi synthetic 15w50, API SL, JASO MA2 engine oil specifically meant for high end bikes such as Royal Enfield and others. BPCL also organized a BIKE rally consisting of mostly high end bikes touring the town of Leh.
Thuksey Rinpoche inaugurated the bike rally. BPCL was represented by Bibhudutta Mishra, Regional Manager Lubes- NR; Manish Duggal, Bazaar Channel Manager; Ankur Bhatnagar, Territory Manager, Lubes and Mayur Mehta, Assistant manager- Lubes ( J&K).
MAK Lubricants is the umbrella brand of BPCL for Lubricants, having over 450 grades of lubricants manufactured through four manufacturing units. BPCL has a fully dedicated R&D centre for lubricants at Mumbai and 22 Quality Control Laboratories spread all over the country besides equal number of Mobile Laboratories.
MAK Lubricants are made from Group 2 plus level base oil, which is among the BEST in ASIA. BPCL has lube blending and filling plants at Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Delhi and have a robust network of supply locations, dealers and distributors (apart from the Retail Outlets) all over the country.
BPCL has major genuine oil tie-ups with M/s TATA Motors, M/s Hero Moto Corp, M/s HMSI, M/s Munjal Showa, M/s Elgi Compressors, M/s Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd and M/s ZF Steering India Ltd. to name a few.
BPCL has been exporting lubricants to various countries like Bahrain, Kuwait; Nepal, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, Liberia, Nigeria, Sudan, Tanzania and others.
