MENDHAR, July 17: A theft took place in Govt Middle school at Chhatral, where unknown burglars decamped with two LPG cylinders, some ration and other material from the school during last night.
Reports said that Mid Day Meals incharge teacher, Mohd Naseer came to know about the matter in the morning and then reported the matter to concerned police. He found that thieves had broken three locks and stolen two LPG cylinders, a `Bhathi’, five bags of rice, two buckets and some other material/ goods from the schools. They had broken locks of Headmaster’s room, staff room and also the kitchen.
The village elders and teachers assembled after they came to know about the matter in the morning. The police registered a case and started investigation.
