JAMMU, July 17: Aggrieved students, who could not get admission in 3rd semester of UG courses in the colleges due to CBCS system, held protest demonstrations at Jammu University.
Aggrieved students of various colleges assembled near JU main gate and started shouting slogans against the current CBCS system.
They alleged that the rules and regulations of the CBCS system for the admissions of the students were totally against the student community who are facing large number of problems due to this current pattern.
Earlier,  the student passing  any two subjects were  allowed to take admission in further class but  according to the latest norms, it requires to pass two subjects from the compulsory subjects excluding the electives for further admission.
